Please be aware that multiple viral illnesses are at elevated levels, including COVID and other respiratory and gastrointestinal viral infections. The best defense is a good offense- maintaining a healthy diet, getting enough rest, masking in public places, and frequent washing of hands are all good practices to implement during this season of high viral transmission. And if you do become ill, monitor your symptoms closely as dehydration and significant cough progressing to breathing difficulties are certainly possible. Your health is important!
As many of you are aware, we have completed most of our transition into the new practice name. We are still managing through a few changes, including the launch of our new website. We are hoping to have the process completed over the next several weeks- you may see both business names appearing for the next few weeks until all transitions are finalized, but rest assured we are almost there!
We will not be changing our hourly rate in the upcoming year, but will be implementing some changes to our administrative fees (most have already been in place), at provider discretion. While most patients will not see an increase in fees, we do want to make you aware. And as always, we will never bill a patient for additional/administrative charges without first obtaining approval.
Probably the largest change is implementation of a credit card processing fee of up to 3% for general credit cards to help defer the processing fee charged to us with each credit card transaction. Our fees continue to increase, and as such we are forced to pass on a percentage of that to our patients who pay with a credit card. Note that you can avoid this fee by paying cash or using a debit card.
In an attempt to be as transparent as possible, we have compiled a list of administrative/service fees. These have been sent to your email from Stephanie.
New charges will take effect effective February 3, 2025.
